Deposit
& Final Payment: A deposit of $300 per person, ($400
for cruises) is required at the time of booking. This deposit is
non-refundable and it forms part of your final payment. Final payment
for a cruise is due 60 days before departure, and for a tour 45
days before departure.
Revision Fee: A handling fee of $25.00 per transaction
will be charged for any alterations to reservations. Spelling corrections
to clients' names after air tickets have been issued will be subject
to airline revision fees. A change of a tour date or itinerary within
60 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation
fees apply.
Cancellation Charges: All cancellations must be
advised in writing. If cancellation is received is received by Cruisetours
more than 60 days prior to departure, the non-refundable deposit
is retained. For cancellations received within 60 days of departure,
the following per person cancellation fees apply:
60-08 days prior to departure: 50% of the land price.
07 days to departure: 100% of land price.
Non-refundable Air Tickets: If you are purchasing
a non-refundable air ticket, please make sure that your travel agent
explains the difficulties associated with non-refundable airfares.
Refunds For Unused Services: No refunds will be
made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced.
Rates/Fares: All fares are in US dollars, and
rates reflect those in effect January 2006. In the event of a marked
increase in foreign exchange rates, rates are subject to increase.
Holiday surcharges may apply. All tour prices are per person, double
occupancy. Single supplements and triple room reductions are available
on request. Various international departure and arrival fees are
not included in the price. The Galapagos National Park fee of $100.00
per person is not included and must be paid in Ecuador.
Itinerary Changes: Although not expected, the
captain of the vessels in Cruisetours' programs reserves the right
to omit or substitute any port, without notice should weather or
other circumstances dictate. Cruisetours reserves to itself the
exclusive right to change or cancel itineraries, hotels, or other
tour components whenever it is deemed necessary.
Passports & Visas: A valid passport is required
of all passengers. It must be valid six months after return to the
U.S. Currently, a visa for Brazil is required of all U.S. citizens.
Non U.S citizens must consult with the appropriate consulates to
determine if visas are needed.
Responsibility: Cruisetours acts only as agents
for the passenger with respect to services provided by others, including,
but not limited to hotels, restaurants, sightseeing and transportation,
such as railroad, aircraft, boat, motorcoach, automobile, or other
conveyance. Cruisetours and its agents shall not be held liable
for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising out
of or in connection with, any defect in any vehicle, or acts of
God, dangerous incidents of the sea, rivers, lakes, fire, breakdown
of equipment, acts of governments, assaults, civil disturbances,
strikes, riots, thefts, epidemic, quarantines, delays, sickness,
omission, neglect, accident, error, or default of any company engaged
in providing such hotel, restaurant, sightseeing, transportation
or other services to the tour.
Cancellation insurance is recommended. All bookings are subject
to availability. |
